Hair up is an every occasion whether that is a wedding, a charity ball, festivals or that sleek casual look, hair up is and will always being on trend.
The best thing about Hair up as a service is what you charge is mostly what you make. There isn’t much products needed that cost money so you’ll be able to pocket all the profit!
Course Description:
Our hair up lesson is a 1-2-1 Lesson that will teach you 2 looks of your own choice in our beautiful salon.
The tutor will do a demo on the dolls head showing you the technique and skills used. They will show you what products are needed and how much the tools help in achieving individual looks.
After you will create the looks on your live model with the support of your tutor guiding you and advising you all the way.
We will take photos and videos throughout the looks to help you remember and refer back to.
Who is this course aimed at?
The course is aimed at anyone wanting the learn hair up that has a passion for styling.
You do not need to be a hairdresser to do the course and you can be a complete beginner.
You will however need to know how to straighten, curl and plait hair to be able to achieve hair up.
If you cannot do the above it I’d recommend you’d need to do our beginner stylist course.
What will I learn during this course?
You will learn 2 looks of your choice by a tutor who has a working career doing hair up in our busy salon in Essex!
In the summer we did about 15 hair up a week!
* We will go through theory of hair up, spending time looking at pictures and explaining how it was created and simplifying the process for you.
* We will prep the hair often curling the hair before creating texture for the hair up
* You will learn about products and tools which will help you not only to create the looks in the lesson but help you with more looks in the future.
* We will teach back combing, pin curling and setting hair to ensure a long lasting, dance proof hair!
Will I need a kit?
We will supply everything on the day.
You will be provided a starting kit to help you start your hair up career.
Will I need to bring a model with me?
It’s recommend you bring a model with you to practice the looks on with support of tutor. You will get a real taste of doing clients if you do it on a real person rather than dolls head.
Will i gain a certificate at the end?
You will get an in house certificate.
